CAN SIMONETA GASTRONOMIC
Located in a privileged cliff facing the Mediterranean and under the direction of chef David Moreno, the restaurant develops a solid dialogue between Mallorca and Mexico, articulated in its own concept called “Mexiterráneo” built on local products, the chef's cultural roots, and direct work with farms and producers on the island.
Its cuisine offers a contemporary interpretation of the region, where technique, memory, and landscape come together naturally. The experience is complemented by the dining room service led by Pere Góst and Nene García.
The restaurant currently presents the “MEXITERRÁNEO | 9600” menu,
a proposal that reinforces its Mediterranean identity and the chef’s
personal expression.

Perched on cliffs overlooking the Mediterranean, La Terraza is a seaside dining venue where Mediterranean cuisine and hospitality come together naturally.
The menu features Mediterranean-inspired dishes with subtle Mexican influences, with a focus on local and seasonal produce. The ingredients are treated with respect and simplicity, putting flavor at the center and shaping a balanced, fresh menu that is consistent with the surroundings.
Each service is designed to be enjoyed without haste, in an elegant and relaxed atmosphere, where the leisurely pace of the evening accompanies the experience. The à la carte menu offers recognizable flavors and carefully prepared dishes, designed for a quiet dinner by the sea.

David Moreno
OUR CHEF
David Moreno, head chef at Can Simoneta, began his culinary training in his native Mexico and enriched his professional career by working in countries such as Argentina, Thailand, Japan, and Canada. After spending time in Barcelona, where he was part of the team at the Dos Palillos restaurant, he continued his career in Mallorca alongside chef Andreu Genestra.
Since 2019, he has been in charge of the culinary offerings at Can Simoneta, where he has developed a personal style of cuisine that fuses Mallorcan tradition with his Mexican roots, giving life to his own concept: Mexiterráneo.
His work and that of his team have been recognized with various awards and distinctions.

OUR PHILOSOPHY
Can Simoneta’s gastronomic proposal is rooted in a way of understanding cuisine and hospitality that is deeply connected to people, the surroundings and the territory. A philosophy based on respect for landscape, product and time, where every detail is carefully considered to offer authentic experiences with a strong sense of identity.
The cuisine is built on local and seasonal produce, working closely with small producers across the island. Ingredients reflect the character of the Mediterranean, allowing for a proposal that is honest, sensitive and true to its setting.
